Effective: July 2026 · Bragging Rights ("the League," "we")
Bragging Rights is a free fantasy sports prediction game. You bet points that have no monetary value on real sporting events using real published odds. Points cannot be purchased, sold, redeemed, cashed out, or transferred. This is not gambling and no wagering of anything of value ever occurs.
You must be 18 or older. One account per human. Accounts are personal — don't share logins or impersonate anyone.
This league runs on trash talk, and we intend to keep it that way. We are strong believers in letting people speak — including harsh, mocking, unflattering, and gloriously petty speech directed at your rivals. However, the following are prohibited everywhere on the League, no exceptions: content that is unlawful; true threats of violence; harassment that a reasonable person would consider stalking or targeted abuse rather than competitive banter; hate directed at protected characteristics; sexual content involving minors (reported to authorities); doxxing (posting others' private information); spam; and impersonation. Private leagues are moderated first by their owners, who may delete messages and remove members at their sole discretion. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules, and we decide close calls.
League owners control their league's name, look, titles, punishments, membership, and message board. Optional "punishments" (clown nose, Dead Last tag, The Excuse) are cosmetic jokes applied by league settings; joining a league with punishments enabled is consent to receive them. If you don't like a league's vibe, leave it.
No bots, no exploiting bugs, no manipulating picks after lock, no multi-accounting to farm recruit badges. Picks lock 30 minutes before each matchup and the server's records are final. The commissioner may correct scoring errors, void compromised events, and adjust records to preserve competitive integrity.
Today there are no prizes — only glory, titles, and badges with no cash value. If we later run promotional giveaways or seasonal prizes, they will be free to enter, skill/standings-based, never require any purchase or payment, have their own posted rules, and be void where prohibited. Optional supporter contributions, if offered, are voluntary donations that fund the league and its prize pool; they buy no advantage, no points, and no improved odds of anything.
You own what you write. You grant us a license to display it within the League (that's how message boards work). Usernames, states, picks, and results are public by design — that's the entire point of the site.
The League is provided "as is," with no warranties. Odds and results come from third-party feeds and may occasionally be wrong; we'll fix errors but aren't liable for them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is $0 — fitting, since that's what you paid. We may modify or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; continued play after changes is acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of Utah, USA.
You may stop playing anytime and may request account deletion (see Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
